In accordance with the mandate of Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation number 30 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Environment, as well as Rector Regulation number 15 of 2023 concerning Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the Environment of Airlangga University (UNAIR), UNAIR consistently adheres to the commitment of ‘zero tolerance’ towards any form of sexual violence behavior within the campus environment.
Therefore, based on examinations, including by experts, examinations of victims, perpetrators, and witnesses, UNAIR has officially issued a “DROP-OUT” (DO) verdict to a STUDENT who has been proven to have committed acts of sexual violence.
This decision is expected to serve as a reminder for all academic members of UNAIR to collectively create a comfortable and safe environment by refraining from behaviors that include forms of harassment and sexual violence.
