Campus Tour, SDGs Presentations, Guest Lecture, Workshop, and Cultural Sharing
Day two of STAR EQUITY 2026 was the most packed day, brimming with academic and cultural activities held across the FST area and Kampus C of Universitas Airlangga from morning to evening.
Following committee preparations from 7:30–8:00 a.m., participants registered from 8:00–8:15 a.m., and the MC opened the programme from 8:15–8:30 a.m. The Campus Tour ran from 8:30–9:30 a.m. Participants were divided into four groups for orderly and efficient mobility, each accompanied by committee escorts. The tour route included: a briefing and group assignment, a group photo in front of the Rectorate building, visits to UNAIR Store, UNAIR Lake, Malioboro UNAIR, and concluded at the Academic Center Complex (ACC) area.
From 9:30–10:30 a.m., held in room GC-3.08 of the GKB Building at Kampus C UNAIR, SDGs Presentations were facilitated by MC Nisrina. Representatives from UKM, UPM, and UNAIR took turns presenting initiatives or research related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a Q&A session after each presentation. UNAIR was represented by Ailsa Shafa Salsabila. The session closed with a summary and group photo.
Following a brief preparation period from 10:30–10:40 a.m., the Guest Lecture ran from 10:40 a.m.–12:20 p.m. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Nor Hamizah Miswan from UKM, moderated by Bu Rani from UNAIR Statistics, and facilitated by MC Bita. The session comprised a 50-minute lecture, a Q&A segment, and concluded with the presentation of a certificate and framed memento to the speaker, followed by a documentation session.
After ISHOMA from 12:20–1:30 p.m. at the GKB Kampus C prayer room, the Workshop was held from 1:30–3:00 p.m. in room GC-3.08. The workshop covered the topic of Symbolic Data Analysis with R, presented by Dr. Ahmad Hakiim Jamaluddin from UPM. The session opened with the singing of Indonesia Raya, the Malaysian National Anthem, Hymne Airlangga, the UKM Song, and the UPM Song. Participants gained hands-on experience in symbolic data analysis using R software, followed by a Q&A, the presentation of a certificate to the speaker, and documentation. The room was then cleared in preparation for Cultural Sharing.
After the Asr prayer break from 3:00–3:30 p.m., the Cultural Sharing session was held from 3:30–5:30 p.m. in room GC-3.08, facilitated by MCs Christabel and Alex. The session commenced with room preparation and an opening by the MC. The UNAIR team then delivered an Opening Performance (Gunny and Team), followed by an intermission, a communal prayer, the UKM delegation’s Opening Performance, another intermission, and the UPM delegation’s Opening Performance. Following the performances, a Cultural Presentation segment took place with presentations by UNAIR (by Gunny), UPM, and UKM in sequence—each followed by a Q&A and a prize quiz. The event concluded with a Closing and Local Snack Sharing session, where participants sampled traditional snacks from each country.
From 5:30–6:00 p.m., an Awarding session was held to present prizes to selected representatives, followed by the Maghrib prayer break. Day two was officially closed from 6:00–6:30 p.m. with a closing prayer and group photo session by the MC.
