On Saturday (15/07/2023), the Bachelor of Statistics Program at Airlangga University conducted a visit to SMAN 1 Giri, Banyuwangi. This activity was conducted offline by directly visiting SMAN 1 Giri, Banyuwangi. The committee consisted of lecturers and students from the Statistics Program at Airlangga University. The purpose of this activity was to introduce and present the prospects of the Statistics Program at Airlangga University.

The event began with screening a video profile of the Statistics Program at Airlangga University, followed by speeches from the Head of the High School and Mr. Drs. H. Sediono, M.Si, as the Head of the Bachelor of Statistics Program. Mr. Drs. H. Sediono, M.Si mentioned that this activity was crucial as it could provide an overview to the students of SMAN 1 Giri about the academic system and allow them to have a deeper understanding of the Statistics Program at Airlangga University.

This Roadshow activity is a series of events or visits conducted by the Statistics Program at Airlangga University to introduce the program to the students of SMAN 1 Giri. The main objective of this activity is to build interest and enthusiasm among the students of SMAN 1 Giri, provide interesting and relevant information about the Statistics Program, highlight the importance of statistics in the professional world, present career opportunities available, and provide real-life examples of how statistics can be used in daily life and various industries. It is hoped that through this activity, the students of SMAN 1 Giri can expand their knowledge about the field of statistics.
