The Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, held a Visit and Guest Lecture by Prof. Su Fen-Yang from National Cheng-Chi University (NCCU), Taipei, Taiwan, on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Faculty Meeting Room, 2nd Floor. The event was attended by 20 participants, consisting of lecturers and students from the Statistics Study Program, as part of efforts to enhance academic insight and strengthen international collaboration.

During the event, Prof. Su Fen-Yang, a distinguished academic from National Cheng-Chi University, Taiwan, served as the guest speaker and delivered a lecture entitled “Introduction to Statistical Process Control and Its Development.” The session provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts and recent developments in statistical process control, highlighting its applications in both industrial practices and academic research.

The program began with participant registration, followed by the screening of a profile video of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Statistics Study Program. The event officially opened with welcoming remarks from the university leadership. A key highlight of the activity was the signing of the Implementation Agreement (IA) between Prof. Su Fen-Yang and the SMESS Research Group, marking a significant step toward strengthening international academic cooperation. The agenda continued with a curriculum vitae presentation, an introduction to NCCU Taiwan, the main lecture session, a question-and-answer discussion, and concluded with a closing session.
