Through the Project Based Learning Infographic Exhibition, the Statistics Study Program at Airlangga University's Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) Strengthens Data-Based Learning

The Project-Based Learning (PBL) Infographic Exhibition, organized by the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, was held on Monday (1st December) in Rooms 323A and 323B, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga. This event showcased the work of Statistics students in the form of infographics as project-based learning outcomes and was open to the public.
The exhibition was held in three thematic sessions: Government Statistics, Multivariate Time Series Analysis, and Risk Theory. Each session began with an opening and remarks from the course instructor, followed by an exhibition of infographics arranged in a one-way flow to maintain order and maintain visitor comfort throughout the event.
Through this exhibition, Statistics students presented various data-based analyses of issues in a concise, visual, and easy-to-understand manner. This activity not only served as a means of evaluating learning outcomes but also fostered critical thinking skills, scientific communication, and academic interaction between students and visitors.
The PBL Infographic Exhibition of the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Science, Airlangga University, aligns with the commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) through innovative learning, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through data utilization and visualization, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Resilient Institutions) through evidence-based governance studies. This activity is expected to encourage student contributions to sustainable development through responsible data communication.
