Information on PhD scholarships (regular program [after Masters] and accelerated program [directly from Bachelor’s]) at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi for majors in the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering. Currently, there are around 25 active PhD students from Indonesia at Khalifa University. There are also those who work here as lecturers/professors, postdocs, researchers.

PhD scholarship facilities include:
– Stipend starting from AED 20,000/month (~Rp 86 million/month).

– Visa and health insurance fees
– Airfare
– Conference and publication fees

Requirements:
– For Spring (January) 2025 registration, open until September 2, 2024
– Diploma and transcript with a minimum GPA of 3.25/4.0 for Master’s degree (for regular program) or a minimum GPA of 3.50/4.0 for Bachelor’s degree (for accelerated program)
– Minimum English score of 91 for TOEFL iBT or 6.5 for IELTS (can be submitted)
– Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test with a minimum quantitative score of 150 (can be submitted)
– 2 letters of recommendation
– Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words)
– Research statement (500-1,000 words)
