We are thrilled to officially launch the International Data Science Challenge (IDSC) 2026, in conjunction with International Mathematics Day (IDM)! Organised by UPM in collaboration with UNAIR, UNMUL & UB

Theme: Mathematics and Hope

Topic: Mathematics for Hope in Healthcare

The Challenge
Teams of 2-4 students will apply machine learning, deep learning, or statistical algorithms to real-world biomedical datasets (https://idsc2026.github.io/datasets/), developing solutions that could improve patient outcomes.

Format: Fully Online!

Eligibility Open to ALL undergraduate & postgraduate students globally! Form a team of 2-4 and register today!

Stage 1: Online submission (Technical Report & Video Pitch)

Prizes (RM 1,000 Prize Pool)
Champion: RM 500
1st Runner-up: RM 300
2nd Runner-up: RM 150
Consolation (x2): RM 25 each
ALL participants will receive an E-Certificate of Participation
