At the launch of ECO-GRINDER KAFFE, as a supervising lecturer from Airlangga University students, M Fariz Mardianto Fadillah, S.Si., M.Si, said that this electric coffee grinder is a modern solution for Kare Village residents, especially coffee entrepreneurs to increase efficiency in making coffee powder. “With the launch of this electric coffee grinder, students can make a real contribution to the community and coffee entrepreneurs in Kare Village can work more efficiently because in addition to being environmentally friendly, this tool also has two functions, namely coffee roasting and coffee powder,” he said. This electric coffee grinder has been made into an environmentally friendly tool because it uses an electric power source and can be easily operated by the local community.

With the presence of the “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2024 Community Service” activity program, it is hoped that Kare Village will be able to increase its competitiveness as a leading tourist village, which in turn will provide greater and sustainable economic benefits for the local community. This program is also expected to encourage active community involvement in managing and promoting village tourism potential, so that Kare Village can develop into a widely known tourist destination, both locally and nationally.
