Collaboration in the Field of Education Between the Statistics Undergraduate Program at UNAIR and Universiti Utara Malaysia

Tuesday, 8/8/23, Dr. Toha Saifudin, M.Si, a lecturer from the Statistics Undergraduate Program in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, reviewed the thesis of a student from Universiti Utara Malaysia. The student in question is Nurul Ain Binti Salehuddin Haqe with the thesis title “DEVELOPMENT OF THE KEDAH ZAKAT RECIPIENT INDEX (ZaKRi) AND MODELING ZAKAT APPLICATION CRITERIA”. This activity is a manifestation of collaboration between Universitas Airlangga and Universiti Utara Malaysia in the field of education, especially in science and technology.

This is in line with the objective of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, which focuses on cooperation, particularly point 6, to enhance North-South, South-South, and triangular cooperation at regional and international levels on access to science, technology, and innovation, and to enhance knowledge sharing based on mutual agreements, including through better coordination among existing mechanisms, especially at the United Nations (UN) level, and through global technology facilitation mechanisms.
