Statistics Bachelor&#8217;s Program at Airlangga University organized a visit, commonly referred to as a field study, to the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) of East Java Province. This activity was conducted offline by directly visiting the BKKBN office in East Java Province. Participants included students from the Statistics Bachelor&#8217;s Program at Airlangga University who were taking the Population Statistics course.<\/p>\n<p>The event began with the screening of a video profile of the Statistics Program at Unair, followed by remarks from representatives of the BKKBN of East Java Province and Dr. M. Fariz Fadillah Mardianto, M.Si., who was the lecturer for the Population Statistics course. Dr. M. Fariz Fadillah Mardianto, M.Si., expressed that this activity was interesting and hoped that this field study could serve as a platform for exchanging ideas. From the materials presented, it is evident that as the population in Indonesia continues to grow each year, it also increases the total population in the country, leading to uneven distribution of education, a rising unemployment rate, and high population density. This needs to be known by the youth or young people in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Through this activity, it is hoped that adolescents will understand all the impacts resulting from population explosion or excessive population. Not only on the carrying capacity and capacity of their environment, but also on their future lives. If Population Education is not provided, they will not exhibit positive behavior that encourages efforts to control the population.
