    On Saturday (15\/07\/2023), the Statistics undergraduate program at Airlangga University conducted a visit to SMAN 1 Glagah, Banyuwangi. The activity was conducted offline by directly visiting SMAN 1 Glagah, Banyuwangi. The committee consisted of lecturers and students from the Statistics program at Airlangga University. The purpose of this activity was for the introduction and prospects of the Statistics program at Unair.<\/p>\n

    The event began with the screening of a video profile of the Statistics program at Unair, followed by speeches from the Head of the High School and Mr. Drs. H. Sediono, M.Si, as the Head of the Statistics undergraduate program. Mr. Drs. H. Sediono, M.Si conveyed that this activity was very necessary as it could provide an overview to the students of SMAN 1 Glagah about the academic system and get to know more about the Statistics program at Unair. This Roadshow activity is a series of events or visits conducted by the Statistics program at Unair to introduce the Statistics program to the students of SMAN 1 Glagah. The main objective of this activity is to build interest and enthusiasm among the students of SMAN 1 Glagah, present interesting and relevant information about what the Statistics study program is, the important role of statistics in the job market, available career opportunities, and provide real examples of how statistics can be used in daily life and various industries, so that students can be inspired to explore further and become interested in learning statistics.
